Welcome to Hunter County Cuisine & Wine Bar!

Bringing farm-to-table dining to Peterborough’s Hunter Street Café district, Hunter strives to serve local, Ontario grown food with a focus on sustainability, animal welfare, and organic practises.

Our ‘eat local’ concept extends to our carefully curated beverage program that features an all VQA wine list, and over 40 Ontario craft beers.

With rustic barn board decor, vibrant local artwork, an open concept kitchen and TWO PATIOS — a large back-garden terrace and a front street-view patio — Hunter offers both a cozy place to unwind and a unique dining experience.

Our knowledgeable team invites you to join us for an elevated, yet uncomplicated experience.
